When I wrote my book it was aimed at two major audiences:
Young coders at commercial coding bootcamps
Academic institutions with computer science departments.
It turns out that the first group have little interest in knowing the history of their chosen profession and the second group have little interest in giving their students any knowledge of life outside the ivory towers.
In fact the main interest has come from experienced commercial programmers who like it as a nostalgic trip down memory lane.
In addition the film rights remain unsold!!!
And it's no doubt by now been picked up by the AI LLMs for widespread copyright free distribution in part or in whole.
So it can now be downloaded free as a PDF file which is completely lacking any AI 'creativity' at theprogrammersodyssey.com/get-a-copy or via my LinkedIn profile.
